Biography

Rózsa Balázs, professionally known as RoBaArt, was born on January 4, 1979, in Târgu Mureș, Romania. From a young age, Balázs displayed a keen interest in the arts, initially studying piano in primary school, followed by painting and sculpture at the local Art School during his middle school years, laying a foundation for his later creative endeavors.

His academic journey continued at Bolyai Farkas High School, where he was part of the sports class, reflecting his diverse interests. Furthering his education, Balázs pursued law at The West University “Vasile Goldiș” in Arad, Romania, eventually directing his career toward the legal field. He began his professional life as a notary public intern in 2002 and by 2004 had become a senior partner at HOLBACH & ROZSA Notary Office.

However, in 2013, driven by a desire for exploration, Balázs took a significant career break to embrace the life of a globetrotter. His travels have taken him across all continents, through over 100 countries, experiencing the spectrum of human existence — from bustling capitals to remote tribes, and from ancient civilizations to modern metropolises. His journeys, often solitary, have not only broadened his horizons but also enriched his soul through encounters with diverse cultures and the generosity of strangers

Rózsa Balázs’s journey into photography began in 2009, initially as a hobby, which soon blossomed into a profound medium for artistic expression. Self-taught, his lens has captured the essence of his travels from all seven continents.

In 2024, Balázs showcased his latest works at an exhibition at the Photography Salon of the Culture Palace în Târgu Mureș, where he presented the RoBaArt 2025 Art collection “Cosmic Reflections and the Symmetry of Soul” that not only displayed his photographic skills but also his evolving understanding of the world through the synergy of symmetry and a shift in perspective.

In 2025, Balázs continued to exhibit his works at the Citadel Gallery in Târgu Mureș, at the Caro Hotel in Bucharest, at FormArt Gallery in Bucharest and Soleil Art Gallery in Bucharest. He also participated in the International Exhibitions "Mater Mundi" at the Alma Mater Gallery and "Tempus Fugit" at the Chili Art Gallery, both located in Athens, Greece.

His collection of art embodies a philosophy centered on humanity, peace, and mutual helpfulness. He advocates for a world where spirituality is not merely about belief but about altruistic actions shaping our emotional landscape, and where science serves a higher purpose for humanity.

His biography is not just a record of his life but a testament to his belief in the transformative power of empathy, understanding, and the continuous quest for knowledge and connection in a world that often seeks division.

Rózsa Balázs’s life story is an ongoing narrative, where each chapter adds depth to his understanding of life, art, and the human condition, encapsulated through his lens, his art, and his humanitarian ethos.

Artist Statement

As a professional photographer and visual artist based in Bucharest, Romania, my work transcends traditional photography, weaving a tapestry of synergy and symmetry that invites viewers into a surreal, otherworldly dimension. My art is a fusion of vision, technology, and imagination, where a single photograph becomes the foundation for a transformative process. By juxtaposing each image across four distinct perspectives, I create a new, unified artwork - a godly, surreal composition that speaks a universal language of nature, humanity, and the cosmos.

My creative process is both a celebration of modern technology and a bold artistic statement. Every piece in my collection is captured exclusively with an iPhone, a deliberate choice that underscores the democratizing power of contemporary tools in creating fine art. This approach challenges conventional notions of artistic production, proving that profound beauty and complexity can emerge from accessible technology in the hands of a visionary.

Each piece I create is an invitation to journey beyond the visible, to explore a dimension where the boundaries between the natural and the man-made blur, and where the soul’s reflection finds harmony in the cosmos. My work is a dialogue between the earthly and the divine, a visual language that speaks to the heart of existence. Through Cosmic Reflections and the Symmetry of Soul, I aim to inspire awe, provoke contemplation, and celebrate the boundless possibilities of art in the digital age.
